Pricing Narrative
Available on Pro and Team.
When to use it
Use Pricing Narrative when you are launching, changing or defending pricing and packaging and need the story that explains the value, the trade-offs and who each package is for. It also covers the migration story for existing customers and the talk tracks sales needs.
Pro tool. Available on Pro and Team. On Free and Solo it appears in the PRO ONLY group.
What to give it
- Buyer segments and what you know about willingness to pay.
- The value metric you price on (seats, usage, locations).
- The packaging problem you are solving.
- Any migration or change context: who moves, what changes.
- Your actual prices and outcome figures. The briefing uses only numbers you give it. If you give one price, you get one package at that price.
It reads your Brand Box Messaging part and project facts. Anything about included scope, onboarding or minimums that you leave out is listed once as an assumption, not invented inline.
Run it on the web
- Open the Quick tab and choose Pricing Narrative from the Pro tools.
- Enter your brief and run it. It uses one of your Pro runs.
- Copy the briefing into your AI, or download it.
Run it in your AI
Run Pricing Narrative for Tuskor. We are moving from per-technician pricing to per-location pricing. Segments: 10-person shops and 80-person multi-site contractors. Current price is $45 per technician per month; new price is $400 per location per month.
Your AI calls pmmagent_elevate and writes the pricing story from the briefing. The reply ends with your Pro runs left.
Good output looks like
For the Tuskor change, the briefing sets six sections: - Packaging architecture: the structure, justified by buyer value rather than default good-better-best. - Value metric rationale: why per location, and the tension in it, such as small shops with one location paying more. - Segment-to-package mapping. - Migration story: what existing customers see and when. - Narrative for the change: short talk tracks for the economic buyer, the day-to-day owner and procurement, using only your figures. - Risks and mitigations.
The finished asset is a pricing and packaging memo of roughly 850 to 1,100 words, with no invented percentages.
