When to use it

Use it for a single newsletter edition built around one claim: a product-led essay, a roundup with commentary, or a data edition.

What to give it

  • The thesis of this edition, as a claim rather than a topic.
  • The audience and why they subscribed.
  • The format: essay, roundup, Q&A or data edition.
  • The items, data and product updates to include.
  • Voice guidance if the newsletter has a distinct one.

If you give no clear thesis, the briefing infers the strongest one your facts support, marks it for you to confirm, and lists it as an assumption. A newsletter name and series position default to generic ones if you give none, and the call to action defaults to inviting replies.

It reads your Voice from the Brand Box.

Run it on the web

Open the Quick tab, choose Newsletter from the tool picker, and paste your brief. Run it, then copy the briefing, use Open in Claude, or download it, and let your AI write the edition. Check the "Brand used" line to see which Brand Box parts shaped the result.

Run it in your AI

"Use pmmagent_elevate for a newsletter edition arguing that most scheduling pain is a promise problem, not a routing problem. Roundup format, three items attached."

The reply is the briefing, with the workspace named and a runs-left line. Connector access needs Solo or above.

Good output looks like

  1. Subject line options: three, a curiosity gap, a direct claim and an insider signal.
  2. Preview text: one line extending the subject.
  3. Opening (60 to 100 words): why the thesis matters this week.
  4. Main sections, by format. A roundup gives each item a one-sentence editorial take, not a bare link.
  5. One insight the reader would not get from skimming headlines.
  6. Close and next action: returns to the thesis.

The finished edition runs about 600 to 900 words, with voice applied mostly to the intro and close.
