Use an API key when your AI has no sign-in

Most clients sign in with your pmmAgent.ai account and need no key. If yours cannot, create an API key and put it in the client's configuration.

Create a key

  1. Open https://app.pmmagent.ai/mcp. This is the Connect your AI page.
  2. In Create a key, type a label that tells you where the key will live, such as "Cursor on my laptop". The box starts with "Claude Desktop".
  3. Click Create key.
  4. The key appears under Copy this key now. It is shown once. Click Copy key, or Copy MCP config for a ready-made configuration block with the key inside.
  5. Paste it into your client's MCP settings before you leave the page. Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others shows the block.

If you lose the key, create a new one and revoke the old one. pmmAgent.ai cannot show it again.

Treat it like a password

Anyone with the key can run tools as you and spend your runs. Do not paste it into chats, tickets or shared documents, and use one key per client so you can cut one off without breaking the others.

See and revoke keys

Existing keys on the same page lists every key with its label, a short key prefix, the number of calls and when it was last used. Click Revoke to stop one working. Revoked keys show as Revoked, and a client still using one will be refused with a message that the key has been revoked.

Your plan still applies

A key uses your account's plan and runs. If your plan drops to Free, the key stops working, because Free is web-app only. On a Team plan, the key acts as you, with your role and your team's connector settings.
