Customise the brand for a product or launch
A product or launch normally uses your company brand. When one needs a different voice, message or look, you can replace that part for that project only.
How a project finds its brand
Each part comes from the nearest place it is set: the project itself, then its product, then the company. A launch that belongs to a product checks the product before the company. Replacing a part replaces the whole part. Parts you leave alone keep coming from above.
Open a project's brand page
On the Brand page, pick the project in the left column under Projects. Projects with their own settings show Custom brand. The page shows each part with a badge, This project, From product or From company, and the name it comes from.
Customise a part
- Click Customise for this project on the part's row.
- The editor opens with the inherited text already in it. Change what differs and leave the rest.
- Click Save.
For Visual identity, the editor starts from the inherited colours and fonts. The logo is not copied. Upload one for the project, or the project has none.
You can also click Upload logo for this project. That makes the project's Visual identity its own, copying the colours and fonts it inherited.
Go back to inheriting
On a customised part, click Use product version or Use company version, depending on where it falls back to. The project's own version is removed. A banner offers Undo right away.
Product or launch
Under Project type, choose Product or Launch or campaign. A launch can pick Belongs to product. Choose None (company only) to skip it. Click Save type. A product has no parent, and a launch belongs to at most one product.
Who can change it
Anyone can change their own personal workspace. On a team workspace, only owners and admins can. Members see "Ask a team admin to change this."
