Create a product or launch project
A project gives your runs a product or launch to work from. Create one per product or launch you care about.
In Canvas
- In the left sidebar, find the box under your projects that reads + New project…. Type a name, such as "Autumn launch".
- Choose Launch or campaign or Product in the menu that appears.
- For a launch, optionally pick the product it belongs to. If you have no products yet, leave it.
- Click Create Project.
The new project is selected straight away and starts with your company brand.
In Quick
Open the Workspace panel, go to the Projects tab, type a name and click Create. Pick the type from the menu that appears.
On the Brand page
Click + New project in the left column. The dialog asks for a name, then "What is it?" with Product (long-lived, holds the product's positioning) or Launch or campaign (time-boxed, uses its product's brand, then the company's). A launch can pick Belongs to product. Click Create project. You land on the new project's brand page.
Change the type later
Open the project's brand page and use Project type. Choose the type, pick Belongs to product if it is a launch, and click Save type.
Limits
Free and Solo include 1 project. Pro and Team allow up to 10. Past that, creating one shows "Project limit reached (10). Upgrade to create more." with the number for your plan.
Naming tip
Name launches by the thing you will say in a meeting, such as the product and the quarter. You will pick them from lists in the web app and name them in requests to your AI.
Wording in the sidebar
In Canvas, Label settings lets you call projects "Products" instead of "Projects", and workspaces "Clients".
