Restore something you deleted

Deleted workspaces and projects go to the trash for 30 days. Restore one from there.

Delete

In Canvas, click the ✕ beside a workspace or project in the sidebar. A box asks "Delete workspace?" or "Delete project?" and explains: "This will be moved to the trash. You can restore it from Trash within 30 days." Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel.

A project can also be deleted from the Projects tab in Quick, after a confirmation.

Restore

  1. In the Canvas sidebar, click Trash.
  2. The list shows "Permanently deleted after 30 days" and each item with a workspace or project icon.
  3. Click Restore next to the item.

It returns to the sidebar as it was, with its Brand Box, PRD and pinned outputs.

If the list says "Trash is empty", nothing is waiting.

What to know

  • 30 days. After that, the item is removed for good and cannot be restored.
  • Your trash. The list shows items you deleted.
  • Team workspaces. Members cannot delete a team workspace, and restoring one needs an owner or admin. Members can delete and restore projects.
  • Brand changes are different. An edit to a Brand Box part is not in the trash. Click Undo in the banner straight after saving. See Review an import: citations, missing items, undo.
